The Apostolic Fathers (Ante-Nicene Vol. 1 - Trial)

The Apostolic Fathers are those who were either disciples of the apostles or lived within a generation of them. Often these writings were found included among the writings of the New Testament in early Bibles, which speaks to the high regard the early church had for them. The writings give a rare window into the pastoral works of the nascent church founded on the efforts of Apostles.
